My name is Irma Derix, living and working in The Netherlands.

I am a fine-art fingerpainter and paintsculptor

My paintings are colorful, bright and happy.

The fingerpaintings are painted with my fingertips, no brushes used. This technique using thick acrylic paint directly on the canvas creates a full and luscious texture on the canvasses.

Lately I started making paintsculptures on canvas.

I create these paintings using very thick paint en sculpt them on the canvas.

I get inspired by nature, flowers and of course the great masters of our time Monet, Van Gogh and Childe Hassam.
